Notice the 3 foot high "granny rails" where the mast goes. The rails give you extra security when hoisting or lowering the mast at sea.
We find that that flat decks on the Moody give you much more room and provide added surety of footing at sea. Many of the new boats have raised and rounded decks which are almost impossible to stand on. After all, it is a sailboat. Wouldn't you rather be outside on a great day?
Design of the dodger/bimini enclosure gives you maximum room and comfort in the cockpit while maintaining the lines of the original dodger for a sleek look.
Hard to see the anchor locker in this photo, but it is large, has internal lighting and an electric windlass.
